WHO WE ARE

We’d like to disappear.

We square our social and professional goals anchored in a single idea: meeting our customers’ needs.

Through business activities which create jobs and with care services, we create value for our organisation and the rest of society.

Ultimately, our goal is to disappear because this means that people at risk of social exclusion will no longer need our help to get a job.

We are mindful that this goal calls for a lot of hard work. However, if there is any chance of moving towards an inclusive society, we’ll put all our best efforts into making it happen.

OUR STORY

1999-2001

In 1999, the town councils of Abrera, Collbató, Esparreguera, Olesa de Montserrat and Sant Esteve de Sesrovires met to start defining a social project to meet the needs of the most vulnerable groups with disabilities. In 2001, the Foundation for Labour Integration (FIL) was born.

2007-2008

Due to the years of economic uncertainty following the 2007-08 crisis, the Foundation faces a critical situation both in terms of management and financial results.

2008-2015

During this period, several circumstances affect the correct development of the entity: the approval of a state regulation, the LRSAL, which endangers the very existence of the Special Work Centre because it is public, a condition that significantly complicates its management, even more so given the economic situation it presents.

2015

The process of ensuring the viability and stability of the Foundation begins. The new mayors, natural patrons, after evaluating various options, propose Auria as the entity to advise the Foundation, a third sector organisation with extensive experience. Through this synergy, we work together to promote the well-being and economy of society, creating and maintaining jobs for vulnerable groups and people with functional diversity.

2017

Having identified the need for a full-time management team for the project due to the difficulties it presents, the Board proposes to have its own team with the capacity to lead and manage the entire project.

2018

Changes in the state regulatory framework complicate the organisation of the FIL. As a result of these new needs in terms of legal requirements and the optimisation of normal processes, the Foundation for the Integration of Workers (FIL) includes 6 new employers in its Board of Directors, in this case from the private foundation Àuria.

2022

The Moltacte Cooperative, a not-for-profit social entity focused on the management of outlet stores and with a firm commitment to providing employment to groups affected by various mental health conditions, merges with ÀuriaFil.

2023

We implement the Àuria Model project.
